The Illinois Office of Tourism will be attending this year’s IPW in San Antonio from May 20-24. Enjoy Illinois & Choose Chicago will have a combined aisle along with several other CVB partners including DuPage CVB, Great Rivers & Routes, Heritage Corridor Destinations & Visit Springfield. U.S. Travel Association’s IPW is the leading international inbound travel trade show, with past IPWs driving $5.5 billion in future travel to the United States, and securing America’s position as a foremost global travel destination.

The Illinois Office of Tourism is proud to celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW), May 7-13. Sustainable travel across the state is set to be the focus with "Travel Forward" as this year’s theme emphasizes the essential role that travel plays in promoting economic growth and creating job opportunities.

To celebrate NTTW, the Illinois Office of Tourism will be hosting the Illinois Green Getaway Giveaway across Enjoy Illinois social media channels. First prize is a stay at Camp Aramoni, a luxury glamping property near Starved Rock State Park, and second prize is a stay at the historic Starved Rock Lodge – both of which are committed to sustainable lodging practices.
